The Model 635 POE(Power Over Ethernet) controller integrated POE onboard, connects directly to the IP network and utilizes a 'MODE B' type injector/Mid-Span/Switch for power. At the same time, provides a connection to the network. This is a new way for the cost-cutting alternative of supplying power, able to support up to two doors over a single CAT 5e/6 cable without the need to have an external power supply at each door. MUST USE FARPOINTE "fleaPOWER" READERS AND HES 5000 SERIES STRIKES
IMPORTANT: you must use a ‘Mode B’ type injector/midspan/switch-See Altronix POE Mid-Span injectors
